Spontaneous Surprise

We had a lovely surprise last week when my sister Michelle and brother-in-law, Franz came to visit us. It was a last minute trip and was short, but absolutely lovely!!! (Franz's brother and sister-in-law live in Scotland and just had their first child, sweet little Micah!) So it was very much a "family visit" as opposed to a big touristy trip, yet we managed to fit a few things in. Like tea at the famous Coombe Abbey and a Shakespear play (excellent!) in Shakespear's birth town, Stratford upon Avon (within 1/2 hour away). It was really cool actually because they just so happened to have a promo on where people under 30 got free tickets!!! (And the ticket lady gave our over thirty member 50% off- just because..) Needless to say we had a great time visiting and catching up, and just being in each other's company-we miss them already, but were sooo blessed by their delightful company- "short but sweet"!
